Since Marc started working for Parson's Brinkerhoff in September 2011 he has worked 6-7 days a week. He finally was able to take some time off and we wanted to do something fun with our boys. Marc wanted to get the heck out of town, but the more I thought about it I didn't want to waste time driving somewhere when there are fun things to do right around home that we never get the chance to do. Also, our boys would be able to still get to sleep in their beds at night, which makes everybody happy!
We figured we'd get our $10 worth out of the Pass of All Passes. That was all we needed. We had fun but decided that since both our boys are so little the Legacy Center here in good ole Lehi is where it's at!
After a nap and dinner we headed over to the Strawberry Days Carnival. The boys loved it! It was really fun to see them both have so much fun!
Luke's concerned about the voyage...
Griffin road the "Badland's 4x4" four times!
Griffin did NOT like the Carousel but Luke was diggin it!
While Griffin was busy riding the 4x4 Luke was busy squirming around and trying to suck on all things disease ridden and Carni-ish. Gross.
Day #2: Temple Square and City Creek
Griffin loves to go see the Mount Timpanogos Temple and Engine Manoni (Angel Moroni) so we thought we'd take him up to see the Salt Lake Temple.
There was a bike race going on downtown and Griff had a great close-up view of the cyclists!
He also got to ride trax with Dad and thought that was pretty awesome.
First time on a Choo-choo!
While the big boys were off on the train Luke and I were takin' it easy.
Then we were off to City Creek to check out the fountains.
Griff stood right over the water and laughed like crazy when it shot right up into his diaper! Weirdo!
As usual, Luke has no fear!
Day #3: Tracy Aviary
We started our morning with breakfast out on the deck and a little bubble blowin.
Then we took off for Tracy Aviary.
There were some really cool birds and we had a great time.
It was wonderful to spend so many days in a row with our dad! We have missed him so much!
